IT Certification Prep Workshop

This workshop is the prerequisite for the CompTIA Certification workshops. Students will learn and review basic computer concepts and terminology to prepare them for the CompTIA A+ and Security workshops. The prep workshop is designed for those students seeking to enroll in the A+ workshop in the spring. This workshop is required to enroll in the CompTIA workshop.

Cost: Participants are responsible for course material costs.

Prepare to unlock the gateway to a thriving IT career with this comprehensive workshop designed to equip participants for the CompTIA A+ exam. The CompTIA A+ Core Series requires candidates to pass two exams: Core 1 (220-1101) and Core 2.

Prerequisite: A+ Certification Prep Workshop or IT experience (resume required).

CompTIA Cloud+ Workshop

Learn how to analyze the different cloud models to design the best solution to support business requirements; manage and maintain servers, including OS configurations, access control and virtualization. Participants will also learn to analyze system requirements to successfully execute workload migrations to the cloud. This workshop will wrap up with operations and support, and troubleshooting.

Project+ is more versatile than other certifications because it covers essential project management concepts beyond the scope of just one methodology or framework.

CompTIA Security+

Project Management Essentials with CAPM® Prep

Microsoft Office Specialist - Excel (Session 2)

This workshop is designed for both new and somewhat experienced professionals in the workforce. All participants will benefit from the detailed analysis and process management approaches presented in the class. Students will learn to define and apply commonly used Lean Quality Tools to real-life and professional settings. Students will also learn to define and map steps in a process; identify process wastes; and apply basic “Lean” techniques to increase efficiency. Participants will receive the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificate upon successfully completing the workshop and passing the certification exam.
